Congregation B’nai Moshe is pleased to announce that enrollment is open for Passover University which will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018.
You will be able to join in for a day of learning and fun about the holiday of Passover. You’ll get to pick classes and determine whether you want to ‘major’ in one area of study or go for a more diverse approach. Everyone is invited to bring Kosher for Passover food to donate to Yad Ezra for those in need. And the best part of Passover University is, there will be no exams!
Classes offered are how to make you own table runner; Passover cooking demonstrations by Chef Cari and Annabel Cohen, Creative & Alternative Seder ideas; The “Art” of telling the Passover story, How to Lead a Seder, Traditional to Contemporary Music of the Seder; Irritating the Romans: How we got the Seder; Planning a snore-free Seder; Build your own matzah house; Addressing the Issue of Human Trafficking & Modern Slavery; Let All who are hungry come and eat.
Faculty includes Rabbi Shalom Kantor, Rabbi Elliot Pachter, Cantor Earl Berris, Annabel Cohen, Chef Cari, Barrett Harr, Dr. Tracey Stulberg, Lea Luger, Marc Sussman, Barbara & Ed Klarman plus many more. Passover University begins at 9:00am with morning minyan, a family prayer service and yoga led by Rabbi Rachel Shere. Classes begin at 10:00am with lunch and graduation (complete with diploma) at 12:30. The cost is only $10 per person with a $25 maximum for a family of 3 or more. This is fun for the entire family.
